Tampons are a great product to choose if you would still like to exercise or go swimming during your period. If you have a tilted uterus then using a non-applicator tampon may be easier and more comfortable to apply. Non applicator tampons are also smaller than tampons with applicators – allowing them to be easily carried around if you have limited space. This also means there is less packaging and waste associated with non-applicator tampons, which is even better for the environment.

Directions for use
- Wash your hands before you unwrap your tampon.
- Try different positions, either sitting or standing, to ensure you can reach your vagina comfortably.
- Make sure the string is dangling from the bottom of the tampon.
- Hold the tampon between your thumb and middle finger with the string end facing away from you.
- Use your index finger to place your tampon towards the opening of your vagina and aim it towards your lower back (your vagina sits at a slight angle not straight up!).
- Gently push the tampon inside your vagina until it can’t go any further.
- Now wash your hands again and pop your paper wrapping in the recycling!
- You shouldn’t be able to feel your tampon, so if it is uncomfortable then you may need to push the tampon in further and readjust.
