The bristles are made ethically in Sri Lanka from sustainably farmed coconut fibre (or coir) wrapped around a stainless steel wire and the handle is a sustainably sourced timber from recycled rubber trees.
Coconut fibre, or coir is a byproduct of the coconut harvesting process, and is considered a renewable and sustainable product since new crops of coconuts can be regrown repeatedly on the same trees. Made ethically in Sri Lanka.

Care
Rinse after each use and store in a dry place. On first few uses you may notice some loose fibres or ‘dust’ but this will reduce over time.
