Being loose powder means it can be mixed together in shades if need be and also has a longer shelf life as no binding agents are needed so therefore no preservatives added. It also makes it easier to offer refills making them more eco friendly. The kaolin blend allows the product to mix well with creams, water and serums to create what ever consistency you like.

Delighted with this mineral powder foundation. I have wanted to make the switch to more environmentally friendly make-up for a while but I was still a bit nervous as I hadn’t used powder foundation before. I found it so easy to mix in with any of my moisturisers or spf as a “BB cream”, and if I feel like more coverage, a quick once over with my brush gives me a lovely natural look. I get just as much coverage as my previous foundation in a more convenient, easy-to-use, flexible format. And I’m much happier that my money goes to a company that is more conscious of the environment. The chance to find your right shade with generous samples is fantastic too.

It has been a huge struggle to find mineral foundation in plastic-free packacking that is high quality, shipped quickly, and not extremely overpriced. In the US, low-waste packaging a clean ingredients still have a long way to go. I am thankful to have found this company and their product! Goes on really smooth and my husband immediately commented on how nice it looks. It’s a winner!
